I worked at Cedar Fair part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very flexible schedule. Unlimited time off for the most part. Great for those who like to keep active or work outdoors.

    Cons

Very stingy pay, especially for the amount of work done. Tons of micro-management. Carelessness of management when it comes to associate needs.

    Advice to Management

Care more about your people. When you overuse and undervalue them, then they will leave. Everything else will follow. Take care of them and they will take care of you.

    Pros

some of the coworkers are nice

    Cons

No respect for you or your life outside of the park. Extremely long hours, little pay, changing schedules regardless of when you tell them you can work. Place is awful and no one cares to change anything. Full time staff has 6 day works weeks and has been told no vacations from Memorial Day to Labor Day, stay away from this job if you have any life whatsoever outside of work.

    Advice to Management

It is a "family" park so you should respect that fact that your employees have families and not expect them to work so many hours that they will all probably end up divorced.
