I worked at Cedar Point Amusement Park full-time

    Pros

Work with great people. When you get hot you can jump in the water. The aquatics team is always doing team bonding exercises.

    Cons

You have to cover up your tattoos no matter what it is! Most my places I have work say if the tattoo is offensive then you have to cover it up. But at CP all tattoos have to be covered up.

    Advice to Management

    Aquatic management stuff was amazing!

I worked at Cedar Point Amusement Park full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you want, you can get up to 70 hours/week of work.
Some departments work in air conditioned buildings.
On-site housing means less gas for your car.
    Cheap employee cafeteria.

    Cons

Depending on the department, you can end up working in 100-degree heat in July with no air conditioning or fans.
Working in the outside games means you're in a small box with no A/C or fans, and the weather can be int he 90s. Several people had passed out at their games from heat stroke the summer I worked there.
In games (where I worked), you get hours depending on how well you sell the game - if you're bad at this, expect about 20 hours per week.
You aren't a person, you're a number to Cedar Point. Don't expect a family business.
Living conditions in on-site housing are abysmal - tiny rooms with up to 4 people sharing, but there's an A/C and heat unit in the window of most.

    Advice to Management

Better food in the cafeteria, better living conditions, and give the people in games a fan or something. Better working conditions.
