I have been working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center full-time

    Pros

Amazing Benefits and looks good on your resume.

    Cons

Internally the culture is completely toxic. There is no leadership that acts on strategy or transparency. The culture is one of fear that if you speak up you will be punished.

    Advice to Management

Half of your workforce is not looking to stay for years and years. Start the change to newer generations and understand your status quo is nonsense and must e changed unless you want to be in a complete talent scramble because no one wants to work with such outdated practices.

I worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They are a very reptuble company, most of their staff up hold the value and the weight of the company’s name .

    Cons

Most of the managers do what they please as far as the policies. Most of the managers show favortism and often times they are very unorganized when it comes to the work distribution.

I worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly doctors and nurses, standard health benefits and 401k, vacation. Nice hospital with private rooms. People are nice to assist if you get lost.

    Cons

Favoritism between managers and subordinates, out dated labs, not much communication between groups, lack of any work life balance. Politics, it can be a real negative environment

    Advice to Management

Look into managers and high turnover rates.

I have been working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center full-time

    Pros

Good salary, friendly colleagues, Good reputation

    Cons

Management has no vision, benefits aren't the best. We have to pay a substantial amount for health coverage. The healthcare I received at Cedars-Sinai in Ob/GYN was below par. No advancement opportunities in marketing and communications. They charge for parking. Their behind with digital media and the way they do things. Not a collaborative work environment. Location is terrible for commuting.

    Advice to Management

How people with a PR background instead of people from media outlets. It's clear they don't have the experience. Recognize and provide more incentives for workers who do a good job. Hire more diverse leadership. Not enough people of color in leadership roles.

I have been working at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Talented technical staff. good benefits.

    Cons

They hired network administrators to be the leaders of an IT organization. The new CTO does not support his staff. He bad mouths employees behind their back as does his Director clone. The CIO should take note of how poorly his projects are being handled by the CTO and how little technology is understood by the directors. Buying your degree does not make you qualified to be a leader. The cloud sounded good till you have to use it. Poor choice by the CIO. Its obvious that leadership is trying to help entice people to quit with their recent attendance policy changes. That leads one to believe that layoffs are just on the horizon.

    Advice to Management

Take a good hard look at your EIS CTO and his network cronies. CIO shouldnt be backing people that have such poor values. Open your eyes mr CIO, he was a poor choice to lead and hes only propping up his boys as well as not telling you whats really going on. You can go meet your venture capital friends after you clean up the mess because you are gone to much.
