    Pros

    Excellent company with great potential. Cejka is continuing the growth trajectory with new leadership in place, additions to both the recruiting and sales division, and the roll-out of a new state of the art ATS. While the company is part of a large publicly traded company, it still feels very much like a family environment. Everyone is vested in seeing you succeed and it shows.

    Cons

    Salaries and Commission could use some focus to bring more inline with market value. However, with this being said, the compensation is still adequate.

    Pros

    There are many good people there that want to work hard and do the right thing.

    Cons

    Too many of the recruiters really don't care if they fill a position or not because they get paid even if they fail. This makes it difficult to build long-term customers who pay full price for a search even if it doesn't get filled.

    Advice to Management

    Don't live in the past. Change to better meet the industry needs.

    Give people the tools to do their job and let them do it.

    Management is horrible. There is no room for growth.

    Pros

    Very welcoming to new comers. Self-starters and those who take initiative are appreciated. Your voice and your ideas are truly heard here. Great place to learn from experienced colleagues.

    Cons

    None to speak of at this time. Though, I am confident if I did have a complaint, it would be addressed in a professional and timely manner.

    Advice to Management

    Keep listening to your employees. It makes a world of difference.

    I worked at Cejka Search full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Flexible hours. Office and parking location was convenient near restaurants and shopping. Office area was clean and workstations were new and a nice large size so you didn't feel cramped. Some of the employees were great to work with.

    Cons

    Low salaries for "non-production" workers even though they work just as hard as production workers. Senior Leadership was out of touch. Management made promotion promises they would not keep and would not explain why. You spent most of your day covering your butt because of the constant finger pointing.

    Advice to Management

    Treat non-production people with as much respect as you do the consultants. Stop playing the blame game between departments when an error or mistake is made. And quit making promises you have no intentions of keeping.

    Strong, experienced consultants
    Positive, helpful environment
    Greater integration with other companies in corporation with a stronger willingness to work collaboratively.
    Corporate leadership has increased their engagement and investment in the company

    Industry as a whole has become more challenging
    Have spent the last 18 months learning to work with a different corporate focus - at times challenging

    Advice to Management

    Continue to support the staff through efforts to identify new ways to achieve higher business results in today's tightening recruitment market.
    Continue to focus on aligning what is sold by sales team with the true work that the consultants have before them.

    Real subject matter experts in the company from whom you can learn a lot about the business of health care

    Cons

    Managers in the business unit struggle a little with fitting in the corporate structure of the parent company who is so much larger.

    Don't be "hands off". Get in the trenches with your employees and understand how the business works

    Pros

    Used to be a great company with well respected , seasoned consultants . Now, lags the marketplace due to incompetent, arrogant leadership who have decimated the resources and totally changed the climate.

    Cons

    New cookie cutter, corporate culture that doesn't understand the nuances of the business are making broad changes that are adversely affecting ability to fill searches. Clients are not getting the resources they think they are because it's all about the bottom line, not filling searches. Prop up the stock price so everyone gets their bonuses,

    Advice to Management

    Cejka used to be the "gold standard", now they are K-Mart "blue light special
