    Pros

Only pros I have at this point are my DM's...nice guys...professional.....

    Cons

NO MILES! I repeat NO MILES! You get punished for taking home time, sit for two or three days at a time, before and after your home time. If you go through the training, in any aspect, then good luck finding a trainer to get your 10,000 miles! I sat for about a month WITHOUT pay after being hired waiting for my trainer. Few other guys waited longer. This apparently was a great company at one time. But in my opinion it's not now. Take my words how you want. If you choose this company you'll be sorry....today is the day I clean out my truck....I've been hired since March, only seen 3 paychecks ABOVE $500.00! A far cry from the 800-1200 they promise....they also pay zip code miles, so plan on getting ripped off about 10% of your miles EVERY trip!

    Pros

I like my truck. It has a fridge, and inverter.

    Cons

you are a truck here, not a person. I'm under contract at 25.5 cents because I went to their school to get my license back. I drove for 10 years in the past. I can gross up to 730 a week with their wage lock program, but they make it almost impossible to stay in tier 1(their level system) to receive it.,mostly due to idle. if you are sleeping and have to run air,or heat, the apu auto starts the truck and there goes wage lock. a very small amount of idle in a week disqualifies you . shortly after starting wage lock, Celadon stopped allowing the drivers to call payroll. You can call your dm, or celadon,if for the most part you enjoy being talked to in a rude, and smart A way. maybe 40% of the time someone will be nice on the other end. You can only wash your truck at the main terminal in indy, and the wash bay is not always open the few times i get to go. I'm in Texas division,so i never go to indy. you can guess what my truck looks like, but ive seen worse.

The good out weighs the bad.

    Pros

All in all the company is not bad. I've had a couple things that had to get sorted out with payroll but it was corrected on the next check. One particular instance was caught by someone in the office and they called me about it. As with any trucking company the miles will not always be consistent but I have managed to make decent money at this company. The equipment is kept in wonderful condition but it's up to the driver to point out the issues. The DMs are usually really helpful if you have issues but there were a few times I was ready to quit because of issues I didn't have any control over. The main terminal is very nice with an on site clinic and cafeteria. Free showers and they are pretty clean. If there is anything a driver needs to find out it is available on the driver portal or in the employee handbook. It's rare to need to ask anyone much of anything. You can find what you need

    Cons

There is currently a driver scorecard in place that is really difficult to keep in good standing. Your pay can increase if you keep good scores. It's impossible in the summer time. It is also not available to trainers, which I am. I didn't attend their driving school but I have encountered many students that seem oblivious to things that I learned at the driving school I attended. I'm not sure if it was the students not paying attention or if it was not covered such as logs, HOS, and trip planning. The pay is on the low side but it is also a training company and I assume that is the reason. The bonus programs for drivers seem to be a mystery to me. The score card has something to do with one but I'm not sure about the others.
