I have been working at Celebration Station full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good middle management who seem to listen to you and appreciate your feedback. Almost every manager at the store has introduced themselves to me and check in with me to see how I'm liking the job on a daily basis. From a worker's point of view management is very helpful and approachable. There is no aura of "elistism" given off by those running the store.

Low stress job that seems to notice and appreciate those who go above and beyond

Free meal each day from the kitchen!

    Flexible hours / off days

Excellent benefits to retain FT employees (401k, health/dental, paid vacation).

Room to advance in the company if you put in the time and effort.

Not much is expected of you if you show up to work and actually try to do your job. Everyone there is happy to help if you find yourself in a situation.

Plenty of fresh air and sunshine during the work day. Much better than being stuck in a cubicle!!

    Cons

Dress and "appearance" code. I understand that it's a family environment but disallowing men to have beards or piercings was a bit of a challenge for me. Also have to cover visible tattoos.
Pay is on the low side but that is to be expected with any job in the service industry. Not exactly a fair con for this list.
Lots of weekend work. Again, expected in the service industry.

    Advice to Management

Please please please keep up your good attitudes!! This has been one of the most positive places I've ever worked and a big part is due to the managers staying positive and friendly. Nothing ruins a job more than a hostile management team.

    Pros

Family oriented work staff. They become your friends. The manager discounts are great. You get to sale fun. Some room for development.

    Cons

Takes over your life. These will be the only people you get to see. Teenagers tend to not show up to work ALOT. Guests go to extreme measures to get free stuff.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers. Hire from within the company. There would be less turnaround. The kids are young but they know the business better than anyone.
