I have been working at Celerity full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Teams of super smart professionals. Caring people (human resources) team that goes the extra mile to solicit feedback and provide a motivating workplace. Transparent managers who truly care about your career. Flexibility with work locations and remote work (based on client needs). Modern corporate offices. Good mix of experience/age of employees.

    Cons

The only con is the uncertainty about where you'll work next when a contract ends - but that's true of all consulting firms.

    Advice to Management

Continue the transparent culture even as the company continues to grow.

I worked at Celerity (More than a year)

    Pros

People were pleasant, work was easy and overall, I would go back. Benefits were excellent. Far better than other employers near me.

    Cons

Changes in company communication, methods of communication. CEO had a salesman like attitude. Vacation had to be earned on a paycheck to paycheck basis, but there was flexibility with appoints.

    Advice to Management

Give a new employee a Celerity mentor and a client mentor.

Continue holding company events. They maintain an open culture for all employees.

I worked at Celerity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Celerity pays well AND you don't have to work hard because no one knows what anyone else is responsible for.

    Cons

Completely broken company. There is not a single person in leadership that is even the slightest bit impressive. No direction. Vague communication. Lots of layoffs. Ask three different people at that company what Celerity does and you'll get three different answers. Decisions that impact the entire organization are made on a whim with seemingly no thought behind it. It is like a horse is loose in a hospital.

    Advice to Management

    None. It's beyond repair.

I have been working at Celerity full-time

    Pros

great people to work with, incredibly smart.
tons of opportunity to get involved in company wide initiatives, committees, and have a lasting impact on the business.

    Cons

probably not the place for you if you're not comfortable with grey space and taking on projects that may live outside your 'title'

    Advice to Management

continue to strive for transparency through all levels of the organization, and alignment of management across departments

I have been working at Celerity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Celerity is passionate about their People. They continuously engage with all employees by asking for anonymous feedback to improve the employee experience, initiate programs to create a community atmosphere, and listen to recommendations to expand our benefits offerings. I am proud to be a Celerity citizen!

    Cons

Celerity struggles with participation for events and programs. Manager buy-in would help encourage employees to join more company-wide meetings and events.

    Advice to Management

Continue to check-in with your employees (regardless of status or tenure) and promote Celerity sponsored programs.

I worked at Celerity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, really smart and capable team
Pay is decent, nice office in McLean

    Cons

Lots of layoffs in 2018, and lots leaving on their own for better opportunities. Every month leadership is changing direction coming up with some new plan, and laying off. They keep changing the direction of the company with no focus and everyone keeps having to hit reset. Employees don't know what to do or where to focus or when they'll be next to be let go.

    Advice to Management

Figure our who you want to be and have a plan to share with your employees, especially sales. Winging it gets old when it's your livelihood at risk.

    Cons

Keep the staffing alive, great way to keep our name out there every single day.
