great people to work with, incredibly smart.
tons of opportunity to get involved in company wide initiatives, committees, and have a lasting impact on the business.

    Cons

probably not the place for you if you're not comfortable with grey space and taking on projects that may live outside your 'title'

I have been working at Celerity full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Celerity is passionate about their People. They continuously engage with all employees by asking for anonymous feedback to improve the employee experience, initiate programs to create a community atmosphere, and listen to recommendations to expand our benefits offerings. I am proud to be a Celerity citizen!

    Cons

Celerity struggles with participation for events and programs. Manager buy-in would help encourage employees to join more company-wide meetings and events.

    Advice to Management

Continue to check-in with your employees (regardless of status or tenure) and promote Celerity sponsored programs.

I worked at Celerity full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, really smart and capable team
Pay is decent, nice office in McLean

    Cons

Lots of layoffs in 2018, and lots leaving on their own for better opportunities. Every month leadership is changing direction coming up with some new plan, and laying off. They keep changing the direction of the company with no focus and everyone keeps having to hit reset. Employees don't know what to do or where to focus or when they'll be next to be let go.

    Advice to Management

Figure our who you want to be and have a plan to share with your employees, especially sales. Winging it gets old when it's your livelihood at risk.

    Pros

    Hands off management
Consulting work - follow policies of company you are consulting

    Cons

Consulting work, so you don't actually work with people from your company typically
I haven't had a pay raise in 2 years and have asked for a review multiple times
    Only contact me about timesheet.

    Advice to Management

Interact more with consultants to ensure morale.

I worked at Celerity full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Best position that I've had. A lot of good to really great clients, projects, and teams.

    Cons

Still a consulting company, so expect a lot of chaos. Quality of clients and teams varies from project to project

    Advice to Management

Keep trying to communicate with employees, don't give up just because some don't check email or Slack. Also, try to communicate changes etc. sooner rather than waiting till the last minute

Celerity has some of the smartest people I have ever worked with. People are eager to help, collaborative, agile and critical thinkers. It has been a pleasure learning from so many industry leaders.

    Cons

There have definitely been some changes but only positive things coming out of them!
