I worked at Celesio (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy to get to from the M6. Pays quite well compared to other places.

    Cons

Was the most stressed I've ever been at work... management don't care at all. They don't care about underperformance or over performance. They just let the business carry on without dealing with any issues.

    Advice to Management

Problem with Celesio is there management are only focused on their own careers instead of helping their employees in the careers.
The biggest mess of a company I've ever worked for.

I have been working at Celesio full-time

    Pros

The company is constantly evolving and dynamic. People are friendly but sometimes reluctant to change. The environment is very diverse and multicultural.

    Cons

Things are done on ad-hoc basis and it is not a very process driven organisation. It is on its way to improvement.

    Pros

Some of the people ... the samples table !!!

    Cons

    - Some of the people ... empire building and resistant to change or new people simply because they are afraid of losing their jobs.
    - Very cliquey
    - People main topic of conversation ... What have you heard about the future... have you been looking .. !!
    - Too many chiefs ... project decisions never made
    - So projects suffer and never hit time target.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the staff you have and their needs.

    Cons

Only one assistant on the counter..long term sick is four weeks! No understanding or care for legitimate illness. If they want you gone.. prepare to move to another store.

    Advice to Management

Don't punish good workers if they have an illness.
