Pros
Great Co workers and Chesterbrook is convenient location for 76, 202, 30, 252 travelers.
Cons
HR leadership is horrible and unethical. Tons of unanswered formal complaints against them. IT is downsizing. There is no dining -only vending machines or food trucks. Executives disliked the location so much, they moved to a fancy office and left everyone else behind. Benefits are way too expensive if you fall between 60k and 100k per year. A lowly coordinator who makes 60k pays same as CEO for benefits. Unless you are looking for a job in pharmacy specifically, don't work for Amerisourcebergen. The support teams (IT, L and D, HR, etc.) suffer as cost rather than profit centers.

Pros
The Benefits were great, but year after year they get worse. I would say they are slightly above average now.
Cons
Senior leadership is self motivated and unethical. If you google search you will find the company is involved with many lawsuits. PharMEDium shutdown a subsidiarity can give you good examples. Walgreens is Amerisoucesbergen's largest customer and wants to to part ways with Amerisoucesbergen's Opioid issues but is locked into a deal with them. There is many articles on this as well. Leadership seldom cares about the end patient and customers. Amerisoucesbergen's handling remdesivir tha was helping with Covid-19 shows no ownership and willingness to help patients especially if it can point the blame back to the government and/or suppliers. I don't expect the DOD or Walgreens to renew deals with Amerisourcebergen

Pros
Excellent healthcare benefits and remote privileges thanks to COV-19.
Cons
There is no work life balance for Sales Executives, Onboarding Specialists, CSRA Team, Credit Analyst or leadership team. Employees log in on PTO days to keep from drowning. Some employees are overworked and underpaid. Poor back up system. Work suffers when employees are out of office. Very stressful. Nepotism is King! Senior leadership hire relatives and friends which make it difficult for promotions and fair treatment.

Pros
Pay was decent. Solid benefits.
Cons
Toxic workplace. Dreaded going to work everyday. No suggestions were ever taken. If you weren’t apart of the leadership team and bought in to their philosophy you were outcast.

Pros
Paid well Good benefits Well known in the industry
Cons
Huge company and you are just a number. They are beholden to wall street so the ideology felt like it was profit over everything. This meant no back filling positions and not resolving service issues caused by staffing issues. Leadership did not empower reps to solve issues and negotiate deals which is very frustrating.

Pros
The leadership to excellent. My manager is hands on and really wants her team to succeed. I feel like my work makes a difference and our leadership makes it known that we are valued. They trust us to do our work without micromanaging. My onboarding was very detailed and they provided me with all the tools to be successful in my role. We work remotely and have great flexibility.
Cons
Can’t think of any. It is a wonderful place to work.
