Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI have been working at Center Partners full-time for more than 10 years
Pros
There are plenty of great people working for Center Partners. They work very hard on a daily basis to make sure the company stays afloat and makes money. I met my best friend there, as well as my wife, so that's pretty cool.
Cons
Too many great people have been laid off, to pay the salaries of the many Vice Presidents they've hired. The mentality is "what have you done for me lately" and the pay is below poverty level. They want to focus on employee retention, but refuse to raise wages, which forces great employees to go elsewhere.

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Center Partners full-time for less than a year
Pros
As others have said, really great people. CP often buys lunch for employees. Good comradery. Enjoyable project if you like gaming. Good place to work if you are starting a career, and in your 20's. Casual work environment (which some may consider a con). Supervisors and managers take their jobs seriously and for the most part are well-skilled.
Cons
Unprofessionalism is rampant. Nepotism is rampant. Wages at an agent level are low, and benefits are abysmal. Not a great place to work if you don't want to be around a 20 something generation. Training is well meant but is somewhat subpar.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookDisapproves of CEOI worked at Center Partners full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
I met some great people at CP who I am still friends with. The benefit programs were mediocre. The best thing I learned from working at CP was never to trust anyone.
Cons
Favoritism was rampant. Promotions were all about who you knew, who you drank with and who you were related to. There was frequent back-stabbing between managers and departments. There were several incidents where managers even slept with their direct reports. But, if you made the company money than all of your bad behavior was excused. Ethical standards were very lax for those managers deemed "in" with the executive team in Colorado. Constant changes by the clients made work a living hell for the agents. No raises and very little in the way of commissions due to metrics that were ever-changing. Definitely a company that does not live up to its own values and standards.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Center Partners full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
If you like video games, it's somewhat fun being on the Playstation product group. Coworkers are mostly cool, if you ever have time to talk to them. If you like talking on the phone all day, then this job may not where on your sanity over time. Promotions get you 25 cents more an hour.
Cons
Supervisors, trainers, HR, all say what great people you get to work with, but that's because they actually get to have interoffice relationships, and they get to have down time. But if you are a phone agent, you'll just take call after call, and you'll talk to your supervisor like once a week. Turn over is high, so they're used to just constantly training new people, so they don't truly care about moral, unless metrics dictate their is a big issue. Clients continually refine their demands, requiring lower times, adding a selling requirement, etc. And Center Partners tells the client "No Problem!" in order to keep their business and then they squeeze their supervisors for better numbers, and then the supervisors squeeze you. Everything is evaluated on metrics. Therefore, you could be lying to people on the phone to get good call times and sales numbers, and you'll be a top agent. Inversely, you could also give accurate information and properly help callers, but be considered unsatisfactory because you calls are longer and you don't sell a lot. You tell callers that you work for Sony and your job is to help them, but the truth is you work for Center Partners and your jobs is to help Sony by costing them as little as possible by handling calls quickly and selling extended warranties. Of course, Sony probably wants you to give accurate info as well, but they don't listen to your calls. Supervisors and quality assurance people who know less about the products then you listen to your calls and make sure you are going thru a set checklist of call flow items.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo opinion of CEOI worked at Center Partners full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Great People. Opportunity to see the world. Interacting with students is a blast, and you can develop your teaching skills without a ton of pressure to perform.
Cons
Low Salary. Tough living environment. This job takes a special person. You probably won't be beating the doors done for a job with these guys, so if you are here, you know what you are getting into.
