I have been working at Center for Vein Restoration full-time

    Pros

Off holidays, weekends, 4 10 hour work week. Co-workers

    Cons

No room to grow, you feel like a second class citizen compared to vascular technicians, no management structure for nurses. Medical benefits are expensive

    Advice to Management

Build the nursing unit up, have a support system, management that will advocate for nurses lead by nurses (not physicians or administrators) this will go a long way to reduce turnover rate. Do not treat us like second rate citizens given that we spend nearly 90% more time providing education and building rapport with your valuable patients.

    Pros

    Cons

    Pros

The employees are easily to get along with and are nice to talk to. Vacation time was easy to accrue and use

    Cons

The company only cares about money and meeting your goals each month for bonus. I had reapplied here after moving out of state and being told I could come back and anytime and they stabbed me in the back! Doesn't seem like the old company I use to know and love working for !

    Pros

    Pay, and coworkers are great

    Cons

Lower level employees don't have an understanding of direction. Company currently lacks full time executive level members. High turn over of executive level employees makes for an uneasy feel in work place.

    Advice to Management

    Fill Executive level roles

I worked at Center for Vein Restoration full-time

    Pros

    Doctors working here get rich.

    Cons

Employees are unappreciated and don't have a voice. Upper management is solely concerned with profitability goals promised to their board of investors. There is an utter lack of qualified leadership of the sales force and operations. No communication or synergy exists between sales and operations. The doctors and the CEO are paid a ridiculously disproportioinate percentage of the company's profits (i.e. millions) as clinical support staff and field reps are paid under the industry average with minimal benefits.

    Advice to Management

CVR will ultimately fail because it consistently neglects to value its people-- their experience, opinions, feedback and efforts. This company is growing at the expense of its employees, the foundation upon which its built. Its just a matter of time before the lack of qualified leadership becomes apparent to its investors.

    Pros

I absolutely loved working for CVR. I enjoyed attending community outreach events and the schedule for Community Outreach Assistants is flexible; its a great position for someone looking for extra work. I would definitely recommend working here part-time.

    Cons

Compensation for travel could be a little better.
