I have been working at Centers for Disease Control and Prevention full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Family/work life balance, and easy commute to work. Especially if you ever get a chance to telework. There is a laid back atmosphere at my office location, everyone is very friendly and seems to want to help each other accomplish their goals. The atmosphere at CDC reminds me of my college days, there are a number of meetings and the management seems to be very enthusiastic about training and providing the best education and opportunities to employees.

    Cons

    None that I am aware.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do your best, because this is a great place to work.

Focus less on degrees and more on whether a person can perform the job and get along with coworkers.
