I worked at Centon full-time for less than a year

    Pros

The best thing about this company is the employees. They are hardworking

    Cons

Employees are extremely undervalued and are expected to dedicate their lives to the business. Employee personal time is not respected by management. You are expected to work nights and weekends at managements beck-and-call. If you don't do these things your dedication to the company is questioned and you aren't considered a "team player." Also, decisions are made on a whim without thinking about possible long term affects of their decisions. Time is also wasted on projects to pinch pennies, instead of finding ways of making dollars. Company morale is low and there is no light at the end of the tunnel. You do not matter. They operate the business from a "Big Brother" business model, literally. Cameras are strategically placed and logged into a network so any member of the exec management can watch your every move. Pretty big time for a small time company. Management felt is was more important to frivolously spend money on spy cams instead of infusing it back into their employees.

I have been working at Centon full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Good for entry level types, usually good coworkers, nice area. Travel is highly encouraged amongst the sales team, and can get good experience from a diverse set of job functions.

    Cons

No appreciation for work being done, benefits are near non-existent, culture war between departments, abusive management, low compensation, and random long work days. Also, there is almost no room for advancement, and in 5 years, I have only gotten one raise, despite being a hard working employee. I have personally seen a turnover rate of around 48% over the past few years.

I have been working at Centon

    Pros

Learning place if you put out they will let you learn it and do it. Think of it like the minor league you can practice all your skills and then if you want to move to another position then you can.

    Cons

Do not expect guidance or feedback as well do not expect to be compensated for your work. There are people there that are telling me it has been years since their last review or any feedback.
