Pros
CenTrak is highly committed to it's employees and has their best interest in mind. Leadership is changing, but it's not a bad thing. Great long term vision.

Teammates are fantastic . Seriously the best part of the job. Opportunity to learn about various areas in healthcare and engineering. Free lunch for office employees. Remote options available.
Cons
Low salaries and the company discourages us from talking about money. This is because someone in your same role could be making $30k more and doing the same work. Understaffed in virtually all areas. Lots of overtime to get projects done, but most of us are salaried. HR will make assumptions without verifying the truth with employees. C-suite will view you as a warm body. The Chief Marketing Officer is great because she is the only one of the bunch who actually sees employees as people and not a means to an end. Bean counters. They will nickel and dime for expenses then turn around and pay millions to acquire companies.

Expectations are high and support is low

Free lunch and snacks were great. Benefits are good, easy to acquire time off. Most people seemed very kind but there was little time to interact with others .
Cons
Internal procedures are very disorganized and need improvement. Most employees are very stressed. Everyone has a lot on their plates. Acquiring more tasks is expected of you without support and pay increase. Unexpressed expectations of over time, which OT is great, but then over time can be seen as an inability to do your job in 40 hours. Instead of finding a better fit for you and your skills within the company they will get rid of you. Typical corporate mentality of do more and more with no appreciation. As one fellow employee said, “I just want employees to go home every day and feel good about their days accomplishments, not feel beaten up and know that there’s even more to do the next day “
