      reasonable work load. friendly working enviroment

      Cons

      limited growth opportunities. Often behind or resistant changes in business techniques and technology. Remote work is a foreign concept.

      more open continuing education, flexibility with remote work, and willingness to invest in technology/software for business units

      Pros

      Decent benefits and pay, comfortable office environment.

      Cons

      Managers promote a "team" atmosphere in theory, but actions belie words. Highly disorganized management team. A lot of secrecy. Goals are not clear and often contradictory. Office politics and daily frustrations of staff go unchecked. Staff often treated as "bodies" rather than individuals with specific skill sets, strengths or weaknesses.

      Advice to Management

      Shrugging off employee concerns will not have positive long-term results. Unless goals and responsibilities are clear and consistent, productivity will never be high or consistent.

        Pros

        Sedentary desk job. Not physically demanding. When I worked there they had a really good insurance plan.

        Cons

        As a call center for a bank, this job requires you to take a lot of grief from customers all day long. This is a high stress job. There is not a lot of back up from management. The policies and procedures that are in place do not do a very good job of helping you satisfy the customer.

        Advice to Management

        Give more credibility to the Call Center Employees throughout the other departments of the bank. The other departments really treat the call center as if they are lesser employees. I am very confident the other departments have little idea how much grief the call center saves the bank employees from having to deal with.
