I have been working at Central California Solar full-time for more than a year

    Pros

CCS is a local company so there are a lot of benefits that come with that. Everyone knows each other and works together on a daily basis. Easy to request time off if needed, casual work environment. There has never been a time that if anyone ever had a family emergency or needed time off it is never questioned.

    Cons

Due to the company continuously growing things can get a little hectic at times. Employees often try to discuss salaries amongst each other which only leads to disdain at times.

I worked at Central California Solar

    Pros

    It's a job and that's it.

    Cons

Employer has a track record of doing electrical panel change-outs without pulling permits, resulting in hazardous situations for employees and homeowners. Employer also encouraged employees to do electrical work that was in violation of national electrical code. Employer also encouraged employees to alter, and/or modify electrical equipment which voided the UL listing resulting in hazardous and illegal situations. Employer also routinely sends out unqualified, non certified electrician trainees to perform journeyman work without supervision.
