    Pros

Friendly people working in the office and in the parking garages. Growth could happen quickly if you're able and ready.

    Cons

The growth you receive may be different than what you'd like to have. They promote instantly when they have a role to fill, but will choose the person standing in front of them, rather than posting and interviewing thoughtfully.

    Advice to Management

Promoting based off length of time with Central Parking, does not equate to skill. Especially at the management level, they should have solid management training.

    Pros

There is a lot of opportunity for growth if you took being professional seriously. Great administration. Many locations to choose from.

    Cons

There really weren't too many cons. It is a job better suited for young adults still in school. Benefits package could be more comparable to what companies are offering.

I worked at Central Parking System (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers for the most part

    Cons

This company was taken over by Standard Parking and I left before the lay offs so I don't know what it's like now, but my review is based on pre-Standard.

    The benefits were atrocious.
Not a fun place to work.
Management left a lot to be desired.

    Pros

There are no pros to this job. None whatsoever. Job is a big loss. There is no possible gain from this job.

    Cons

Every con possible..low wages..horrible management..forget about having a life during Mardi Gras season..they over worked you and always hired friends of people they know..favoritism is rampant here..

    Advice to Management

    You all need management training.

I worked at Central Parking System full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Being a valet is great exercise, but very tiring. If you can hustle you can get $$$. I'm sure that things have changed since I was a valet back in '08-'10 as far as keeping your tips so just be cautious. Working downtown is nice. When I needed check stubs and went to the main office, it was a nice building, but I only got to step in there; the bigwigs get to work there all day which must be nice for them, good for them. A lot of different people you can meet and be acquainted with for a short time.

    Cons

Rude bosses, rude customers, some times no tip (if valet), sitting on your butt all day taking cash basically being a robot can be boring for some.

    Advice to Management

Please offer the automated jobs to disabled people before you get a machine to replace a human. Maybe a blind person or a person with down syndrome could be a ticket operator? I'm sure they could use the work as well!!!!

I worked at Central Parking System part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great entry-level job with Easy Work, you get meet Awesome people, and get to
    work outdoors

    Cons

They have bad pay to start with, most time the clients get upset with company for over-charging. There is no vacations for part-time employees, and there isn't no benefits either.

    Advice to Management

At this time for management the only advice i can give to them, is to improve the relations with clients, and improve working conditions for future part/full time employees.
