No real room to move up. All part time employees are hired for only a semester at a time. There is a good chance you won't get hired for the next semester so don't depend on it.

Worked with great people and even greater students. Relaxed atmosphere. Flexible schedule because of school calendar. Beautiful campus, convenient to uptown Charlotte.

Inefficient and unorganized. State funding is always tight, so a lot of uncertainty about jobs for people in the department. A lot of competition for the very few full time positions.
