I have been working at Central Texas Medical Center full-time for more than 4 years

    Pros

This hospital sticks to its faith base, and also creates a "family-like" atmosphere. Because we are a smaller hospital, everyone knows everyone. So, communication between departments are easy with more face to face time, rather than sent electronically. There can never be enough communication, but CTMC achieves at covering different approaches. CTMC is also not afraid to acknowledge hard workers, or great jobs. It...

    Cons

This isn't a CTMC con but rather a EVERY hospital con. At every hospital, besides physician, the next best thing are nurses. I worked at Central Texas Medical Center full-time

      Pros

Tight knit group of dedicated Doctors, PAs, NPs, nurses and techs. Small community hospital with great overall management. Responsibilities for Techs high overall, with pay increasing to reflect the role.

      Cons

Pay was still not very high, a least while I was there, could be higher now.
