    Where to even begin. You have egotistical leaders who seem great face to face then spread lies behind your back. Not to mention when moving on they canceled health insurance without even telling me, (i didn’t even know i wasn’t covered anymore until i went to the doctor) but they still continue to take it out of the checks they owe you (charged for full amount when you didn’t get covered for a full week).     There are no pros, I am required to put at least 5 words. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy.

    Flat out..this company does not care about their employees or customers. I have never seen a company treat people like Central Transport does. You will get better benefits and basic human courtesy anywhere else but here. If you work here you can expect: No support from your manager. RDS’s are no support or help at all.     This section is a joke for CT because they do not care. Do not pay attention to their form HR response. It is all talk. They have said on here contact your HR partner, wait we had those? See above on opinion of HR. And management....what a joke. They do not want to hear from anyone.

    -Paycheck -Guys at the terminal are awesome

    Cons

    Where to even start. Unless you are desperate for a paycheck, steer clear. They will try and give you a large base salary to get you to work for them, and they will not deliver on anything they promise. They cycle through people like trash and do not care about the employees working for them. -No matter what they say about "trying to change the reputation of Central", they continually screw customers over.     Pros

    Pay was very good for the job. You can make a schedule of when you want to visit people. You can work 3-5 hours visiting 10-12 accounts and be home checking emails and dealing with issues by 1-2.

    Where to start. First of all if you are a woman good luck in this role, the industry is very male dominated and even if you feel unsafe at a location management will tell you to go back for the business. The majority of upper management is all old white males who have been at the top for years. Very old fashioned and stuck in the past. They do no even have direct deposit.     Flexibility, get to be out of an office environment and moving, most days you work on your own and set your own pace.

    Cons

    Strictly door to door sales and cold calling every day. Place and equipment is falling apart, managers micro-manage and critique on every detail of pointless admin work despite your numbers being good. Your constantly going to people who have used Central in the past and hate you.     Simple, affordable, and far from reliable. Would you have faith in this company to ship your product if you owned a mom and pop shop? Not all sales territories are created equal. Some territories are much smaller and will be much more difficult for a rep to grow and produce good numbers or even have enough accounts to call on.     Great money for the average work week expectation Flexible if you are good at scheduling yourself

    Fixing an issue can be a hassle if it's even possible Often nothing you can do to help clients other than letting them know the bad news (late shipment, damaged shipment, etc)

    Good pay, hires people straight out of college, paid training but must travel to Detroit. And paycheck. Pretty much just the paycheck. Work on your own.

    Cons

    Terrible management. Offer terrible services. Every sales account hates you. They expect constantly increasing sales. Boss was very unprofessional when not around customers. Downgraded my customers after speaking with them. Corporate office is very outdated and local terminals are TRASHED. Over half the guys I trained with left after a month or less. Pointless conference calls you have to attend and they quiz you over...

    Pros

    Good pay; friendly atmosphere, owner investing in biggest assets: new fleet of trailers all 2016 or newer; decent benefits, rebrand of company in process

    Cons

    2 week payroll processing period, paid on the 3rd Friday. Training needs to be revamped to become more effective/efficient in smaller amount of time.

    Develop a source for giving feedback on new hire process
