I have been working at Central Transport part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

If lucky, you can meet some nice people (I did but a lot of them quit). Pay is decent and the hours are great. If you're in school and need a more lenient schedule then this would be a easy part time job for you.

    Cons

Feels biased most of the time. Can be hard to hit the incentives. There's a lot of things to remember and it can get overwhelming especially since they change rules quite often.

I worked at Central Transport full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

I worked at central for over 2 years and at first it was a GREAT job. Co-workers were always friendly. Decent incentive program based upon how many bills you can complete.

    Cons

Over the past couple years, this department went downhill. The communication in this department is nonexistent, with rules constantly changing and people having no idea what is expected of them. Management began making it very difficult for people who go to school even though they claim to work with school schedules. Changing department hours to begin at 4 PM made it very difficult to work school and other priorities...

    Advice to Management

I implore you to take a hard look at this department. There are many employees, like myself, who were and are unhappy working for your company. Also, please stop appointing people to management positions who are not qualified to manage employees.

I worked at Central Transport part-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

There are not many pros to working at Central Transport, but if i had to pick one it would be the people.

    Cons

This position is extremely boring. You sit there for 4-8 hours a day and do the same thing over and over again. It is not rewarding at all and you feel like you are waisting your time.

    Advice to Management

I believe management is doing a pretty good job. The position in itself is boring so there isn't much they can do.

I have been working at Central Transport part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Billing department is pretty easy to with at entry level. Good training, friendly atmosphere, and decent pay.

    Cons

They don't like hiring certain positions to full time, because they don't want to pay for benefits even if you're the top of the position. Poor communication. Lots of turn over. No incentive to stay even if you love the job. Raises, full time, advancement are rare.

    Advice to Management

Treat every one fairly and be willing to take on a few good hard workers at full time instead of a lot of crappy workers at part time.

    I worked at Central Transport

    Pros

Pretty good pay for such an easy job. Little Thinking required. Most employees are nice people. Holidays off. Casual dress in the afternoons.

    Cons

No health insurance even if you work 40 hours per week. Unpaid vacations earned only after working there a year. Little thinking required. EXTREMELY boring job. Don't let you listen to music, or even talk to anyone. They make some employess share desks with people working different shifts. Ridiculous requirements for earning bonuses, always changing, becoming more and more ridiculous. Boring. Lousy training,...

    Advice to Management

Learn how to communicate. Try making employees happy and maybe you will see some positive results. You need to realize that actual people are working for your company, not machines.
