    I have been working at Central Transport full-time for more than 20 years

    Pros

    Central has a good opportunity for advancement for all employees. Recently they have taken drivers and promoted into mangement positions with a decent salary. I feel this is a hugh moral buster for other drivers that want a future with the company. Central is very competitive with salary.

    Cons

    Pesison/Retirement program is well needed. Its hard to work for a company knowing that there is no future financial support. Central can improve on their insurance benifet package. A lot of emplyees have to use outside vendor for affordabel rates and the ones that use within the company complain about the coverage.

    Advice to Management

    I would like to enjoy more time off or increas sict time. Central only give 3 weeks vacation and 3 sick days regaurdless of years of service.

    I have been working at Central Transport full-time for more than 2 years

    Pros

    Central Transport offers a good salary and good benefits. Every day was different and the challenges were at times enjoyable, because it was something new.

    Cons

    I feel Central Transport offered me very little sales training. When I first started my position was said to be 80/20 operations/sales. Then my position moved to 80/20 sales/operations and at this point the inadequate sales training made life tough. This position brought very long hours for a salaried position.

    Advice to Management

    Better sales training program. Offer a better work/life ratio.

    Pay is competitive and the current manager out of Fort Worth is the best I have worked with in my four years here

    Cons

    I have not received a pay increase other than my promotion in the four years that I have been with Central.
