I have been working at Centria Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Honestly, these are insane times. COVID has turned our world upside down but hearing how friends and families companies are doing things by their employees- layoffs and terms with no care for their employees, makes me really appreciate that Centria only did salary reductions and for the people they did furlough, I heard they are still paying 10% salary and covering all benefits to help them get thru this. That really means something and I know it comes with a cost. They upped communication to be weekly and the ceo and other execs get on a call each Friday to tell us what’s happening. No company I’ve worked at before would have done that or made the time. I appreciate they try to keep us aware of what’s happening when things are day by day right now. Knowing the ceo is taking now salary during this outbreak is cool too. Feels like we’re all in it together. My boss is helpful, always asking what roadblocks or issues I’m having and helps to fix it. Really accessible and tries to help teach me things. I want to move to the next level so it’s cool when she can show my the things she does and explains why.

    Cons

Taking a paycut during COVID isn’t the best, my bills are still there. I get it, but i still feel it each week

I have been working at Centria Healthcare part-time for less than a year

    Pros

flexible, you really make a difference with the kiddos, company offers paid trainings, will find a lot of support if you reach out, some BCBA'S can be cool, the main office is really dope and classy looking

    Cons

It can be a challenge finding a responsive BCBA, don't get benefits until full time, the mileage transporting kiddos to and from locations can be time consuming and and not worth what they "pay back"

I have been working at Centria Healthcare full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You can basically make your own schedule. They will work with you if you have another job. Lots of work available if you're flexible on location. Great starter home care job, you learn a lot from the more experienced parents.

    Cons

Pay is not fabulous, it changes based on acuity and what the company gets paid.

I worked at Centria Healthcare full-time for more than a year

    Pros

They hired wonderful people to socialize with

    Cons

The company was run like Google or Quicken Loans which, for an organization providing social services, is extremely wrong. Quantity over quality. And Michigan's requirements don't ensure a quality product for everyone, and they sorely undervalued their workers in the field. As a manager, it was unconscionable for me to continue working there. (Not to mention the disproportionate rate of employees of color that were fired in comparison to non for committing comparable errors)
