    Pros

    Pros

Family owned---Great products to help hospitals and patients achieve better outcomes. You have everything to succeed right at your finger tips.

    Cons

Large product line which takes a lot of time management and training. Long sales cycle- but that is beneficial in the long run..

I worked at Centurion Medical Products full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, successful company, co-workers were great people to work with

    Cons

Poor pay, poor management, don't treat employees well, very successful but not the great company they used to be, little chance for raises or advancement

    Advice to Management

Value your employees more. Hire managers who know how to manage, support, and develop people. Listen to your employees and value their input - you'd learn a lot.

    Pros

I worked in the production room before being moved to QC. Production was good where I worked, good people, easy going environment. Excellent training, many opportunities for growth. Many employees are willing to share knowledge of company processes, and direction. Nice benefits.

    Cons

There is no base rate for any job though which is good and bad. Good if you're coming with a lot of experience from another company, bad if you are doing just as good of a job brand new to the scene, as a senior employee does. Another shady politic is preferential of employees. Lots of family members that get treated better than non-relatives, and who can get away with much much more and who get paid slightly more as well.

I have been working at Centurion Medical Products full-time

    Pros

    Healthcare benefits are excellent
    Family comes first
    Low stress environment
    Overtime extremely rare

    Cons

Very flat organization, leaving virtually no room for career advancement
Pay is less than market average, and annual raises are always disappointing
401k program is below average, employer contributions only occurring once per year and totally dependent on prior year financial performance

    Advice to Management

I've been with Centurion for a number of years, and overall I'm very happy to be employed here. The work/life balance is excellent, which normally comes out to be more important to me than just the compensation package.

I worked at Centurion Medical Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Mostly a M-F scheduled
-You will learn to perform every job within the warehouse along with the one you were hired for

    Cons

    -No room for career advancement
    -No bonuses
    -They stress "at will employment"
-401 k program is below average, no dental, no vision and mediocre medical insurance
    -Poor management
    -No real training program
-Once you leave, they will only confirm dates of employment and pay, nothing more, even if you were an outstanding employee with lots of contributions
-Employees are poorly compensated and assigned more responsibility with no increase in pay

    Advice to Management

"When the leader violates organizational trust and confidence the entire organization takes a hit at the same time. Unfortunately for the innocent bystanders – the smell of the fish stinking from the head down pervades the entire organization".
