I have been working at Centurion Medical Products full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Strong values from most of the management...truly want to make better products and do so...encouraged to do what other companies cannot for our customers and seldom get pushback when asking to do something outside the normal lines...patients are the priority. Sales force treated very well and truly have the opp to make a ton of $$$, but you have to put in some years.

    Cons

If something isn't right or not working well, the opportunity to voice concern is minimal and often spurned. Innovation is and has been lacking...though we have tried with a few products, they just aren't great and have fallen flat.

    Advice to Management

Reps need to have new stuff to sell...Shield is great, but old and now putting into other kits makes it not worth it to sell on the comp side; Compass 2.0 could be great, but its shelved; Art line could be good if it works but its not that innovative and people aren't too "wowed" with it. Need new stuff

I have been working at Centurion Medical Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Awesome teams (Facility 80&90, Yuma, AZ & Mexicali, BC, Mexico). Leadership is great, everyone helps each other.

    Cons

If you make a mistake you better be ready to get an earful and told not to do it again, if the same mistake is made twice get ready to get yelled at.

I worked at Centurion Medical Products full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -Mostly a M-F scheduled
-You will learn to perform every job within the warehouse along with the one you were hired for

    Cons

    -No room for career advancement
    -No bonuses
    -They stress "at will employment"
-401 k program is below average, no dental, no vision and mediocre medical insurance
    -Poor management
    -No real training program
-Once you leave, they will only confirm dates of employment and pay, nothing more, even if you were an outstanding employee with lots of contributions
-Employees are poorly compensated and assigned more responsibility with no increase in pay

    Advice to Management

"When the leader violates organizational trust and confidence the entire organization takes a hit at the same time. Unfortunately for the innocent bystanders – the smell of the fish stinking from the head down pervades the entire organization".

I have been working at Centurion Medical Products (More than a year)

    Pros

Very open environment for a seasoned rep or someone who needs very little supervision and has an entrepreneurial spirit

    Cons

Don't get very much direction from management and when you do it's often very delayed and sporadic

    Advice to Management

Greatly improve communication from top down and you will see better results among reps

I have been working at Centurion Medical Products full-time

    Pros

    Healthcare benefits are excellent
    Family comes first
    Low stress environment
    Overtime extremely rare

    Cons

Very flat organization, leaving virtually no room for career advancement
Pay is less than market average, and annual raises are always disappointing
401k program is below average, employer contributions only occurring once per year and totally dependent on prior year financial performance

    Advice to Management

I've been with Centurion for a number of years, and overall I'm very happy to be employed here. The work/life balance is excellent, which normally comes out to be more important to me than just the compensation package.
