    Pros

    Easy work, flexible schedule

    Cons

Not enough hours, hours are cut often. No incentive for getting customers to sign up for credit cards, despite how pushy management is about it.

    Pros

I loved meeting people form all over the world. I loved being recognized for your hard work, at times. Its a good job to start your retail experience.

    Cons

They used to give out cash rewards when you found a mismate (a pair of merchandise that is not the right pair, such as shoes and suits). Recently, the downtown Manhattan store adopted mobile payment devices and those are a headache, management is on your tail about those payment devices.

I have been working at Century 21 Department Stores full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Weekly pay, 45 minute break time

    Cons

C21 expects the cashiers to sell their souls to the stupid credit cards. You get berated for not selling them and don’t even get a commission for selling them.
ZERO communication with the managers. If you need a manager we’ll GOOD LUCK.
Management is very unorganized, they don’t care about employees, only credit cards which are a scam. Oh and they have these mobile sales devices for express checkout. HORRIBLE. LITERALLY THE WORST THING. You must compete with the complex to get a certain percentage and Managers will harass you for your entire shift. And guess what, the devices barely work.
Scheduling is also a JOKE. This whole store is a joke (downtown)

    Advice to Management

    Get better at communicating.
Either fix or get rid of your express checkout nonsense and stop harassing employees to get more transactions with the express checkout because It doesn’t work!!! And if you’re going to harass employees about signing people up for the credit cards you should at least give a commission. But you won’t because you’re a joke.
