I have been working at Cenveo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The people who work there are great people, they are knowledgeable and are willing to help the customer they best way they can.

    Cons

    Poor working conditions
    No salary increases in years
    No bonuses
    Old machinery
    Old technology
    Not willing to make improvements
Upper management only concern is to give themselves bonuses and salary increases each year at the expense of the employees

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people below them and take that advise use it. To many decisions come from top down, where they do not know day to day operations and make things more difficult. But they think it's more efficient.

    Pros

If you know your job, you will have opportunities to teach, learn new skills, and in some instances travel to other plants to help out.

    Cons

The company corporate structure isn't normal. Mostly a father and sons run company with lots of frightened yes men hovering around. Some plants are well run and some have list their will to succeed. Choose wisely.

    Advice to Management

Stop pinching pennies and wasting dollars. Let your plant managers run the plants. They know how. Your one for eight reverse stock split should be a heads up that you need to replace sons with fresh outside talent.

    I worked at Cenveo full-time

    Pros

Great employees who are bright and fun to work with.
Work at home available during bad weather or family emergencies.
Flexible with time off as needed.
    Employee children scholarship program
    Company discounts
    Summer Hours
    Indoor Parking
    Decent cafeteria
    Good HR department.
    Initial compensation is competitive.
Some of the upper and c-level managements are good and fun people.

    Cons

Most decisions are based on improving stock prices rather than improving the business.
Most c-level management don't value the employees and the employees know it.
Employee morale is low and continues to decline.
No raises or bonuses unless you're c-level management.
No defined career paths for lower level employees.
Management has no employee training development programs or tuition reimbursement programs.
    Antiquated dress code.
    Nepotism runs rampant.
Fear of layoffs are always looming and occur regularly without warning.
Management has an Ivory Tower syndrome and the office space literally reflects this.
    Employee turnover rate is high.

    Advice to Management

Go private. Making business decisions just to improve stock prices are short sighted and will be the failure of the company. Invest in your existing or new talent. Develop employee programs that help them grow and thrive. This in turn will help the company grow.
