    Pros

    Great product and good benefits.

    Cons

The culture is more live to work instead of work to live. Everyone seems to work themselves to death and expect you to do the same.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees more.

    Pros

Good flexibility. There is room to move around. Opportunities for training and continuing education. IT available if you are virtual and need tech. help.

    Cons

If you are virtual it's difficult to feel connected. There was a travel freeze, so we couldn't get to know the members of our team. Communication from upper management is minimal. Felt out of the loop.

I have been working at Ceridian full-time

    Pros

The worldwide Ceridian Finance team is a rewarding team to work with. There are a whole bunch of smart people who are very dedicated to the success of Ceridian.

    Cons

There has been a recent trend to discount or marginalize the value added by the Finance team to the operations of Ceridian.

    Advice to Management

Do not under estimate the value that the Finance team provides to the Company. This is a group of very dedicated people who are very good at what they do.

I have been working at Ceridian (More than a year)

    Pros

Ceridian promotes an exceptional work life balance. I work from home and manage my territory in whatever way that gains the most traction for potential customers. Dayforce is also an amazing product, truly a single application for HCM.

    Cons

Management is not structured as well as it could be. I'm on a newly created division for Ceridian and it seems like the company needs to work on assisting the Commercial space.

I worked at Ceridian full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Although being an international corporation, there was some effort made to create a personal relationship with employees. Birthdays were recognized, social events were common, including small holiday parties & ethnic festivities. The wage was competitive & there were many people who had been there 20+ years. I was permitted to decorate my cubicle however I wanted. There was an on-site cafeteria with decent food & several microwaves. There was a mezzanine to walk around to get some exercise while on break. Parking was covered, so your car didn't sit in the heat all day.

    Cons

They only hired temps. It took me 6 months to be hired as an employee, and that was rare. All the other temps I worked with were let go. The decor & upkeep of facility was minimal: white walls, grey cubicles for miles, stained carpet; very little art or beautification on the inside, the heater broke one winter & they didn't bother to repair it so we froze at our desks until spring. I'm not a smoker, but the smoking area was obscene: a 5x10 screened-in 'patio' where everyone had to squeeze in together. I guess they were trying to deter smoking altogether. When they asked me to train people in India over the phone how to do my job, that was enough for me. At the end of the day, you really are just a number at Ceridian.

    Advice to Management

Get your hands dirty more & help out when things are busy. I went to a few management meetings and they were shopping for shoes online, gossiping, & clowning around while their team was tirelessly working to get the work done. Focus more on treating employees like humans and less like robots.
