    Pros

I've would say it’s a good place to start your career as a Test Analyst, I repeat as a Test Analyst ONLY!.
    Pay wise is good.
    Flexible timings.
You can work from home, only if be as doormat to your manager.

    Cons

Development team only does the patch work left by US team, and you’ll probably end up depressed doing the same thing over and over again.
    Cerner unquestionably redefines politics.
Position is filled not because of the eligible just because it’s vacant.
Cerner has an in-house automation tool called ‘Touchstone’ which you’ll never find such a worthless tool in entire universe.
There are few Knowledge Architect who think themselves as an architect but they another group of craps.

    Advice to Management

My advice to the management would be, revamp all those 10+ experienced heavy heads candidates who think they run the company.

If you got to stay in the race treat your employees well, not as slaves.

I worked at Cerner full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Opportunities for recent grads, employee activities, casual dress but professional environment

    Cons

The uncertainty of what's next due to acquisition. You need to establish an area of expertise to succeed, rather than having a broader skill set.

I worked at Cerner full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary and benefits are a plus with this company, including 401K.

    Cons

Advancement of junior associates to position for which they are not qualified is one reason for lack of retention. Transition period between training and full integration to front facing positions results in a misrepresentation to clients of qualification of new associates.

    Advice to Management

Culture would benefit from decrease in the political environment which drives consulting...some teams are so politically driven, that the dynamics that Cerner strives to maintain its ranking against Epic is lost on trying to keep ones head off the chopping block.
