I worked at Challenger Sports (Less than a year)
Great atmosphere, awesome people. It was a joy to meet the crew in the Cincinnati office. Great experience in customer relations/service.
Minimum wage, long drive if you live in Kentucky. A lot of cold calling.
I worked at Challenger Sports full-time
Very laid back environment as long as you understand your job and can do it well.
The problem is that there is zero to little training, you're expected to learn from people who also have been hired relatively recently. The turn over rate is ridiculous. They hire people on and then lay them off again before they even fully understand all of their jobs responsibilities. It's almost impossible to feel appreciated at this place. The raise you may or may not receive each year basically keeps you right at what they end up hiring on the new seasonal people at later in the year.
