I worked at Chandler Regional Hospital full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Everyone there really cares about the patients and other team members. I am a new graduate and all the other staff nurses were kind, supportive and patient with my learning curve. They offered plenty of education.

    Cons

Too many mandatory education modules. Some took over 5 hours. You can log hours doing modules from home but it still takes away from home life.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Chandler Regional Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

good benefits, but shrinking just like the other health care cooperates. good medical , dental and vision coverage for the whole family

    Cons

poor management, especially on night shift, lack of accountability. some nurses work like crazy , some nurses sit all night doing the min and play with their cell phones all the time or shopping on internet. Those are mostly the charge nurses. Do not get recognized or promoted for hard work. Cafeteria food is horrible, esp on night shift

    Advice to Management

Be fair to everyone, apply evidence -based practice, stop clicks with your friends and show favoritism
