    Negative Outlook

I worked at Channel Source Direct full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The annual Christmas party was about the only highlight for me. OK, schedule flexibility was a pro for me as well...

    Cons

Constantly bad data from which to make calls, being switched from campaign to campaign made it difficult if not impossible to make bonus during the month. Always on edge whether you would be "laid off" - nice way of saying that you're fired. Management played favorites when it came time for promotions - interviews for open positions were only for show, minds were already made up beforehand!

    Advice to Management

Why bother giving them advice? They won't listen!!!

  2. "Total disappointment"

    Pros

The hours were good, typical 8-4 job. The Christmas party was nice.

    Cons

I found this company on the "Best Places to Work" list so I had high expectations. I was hired at $11.00 and hour but told they would increase it to $12.00 after training. That never happened. Purely cold calling, awful contact list, expected to just call call call and had to meet hourly quotas. I worked there for two months and was laid off right after Christmas. They called 5 of us in a room (one of which was hired the week prior) and did a group layoff which I felt was inappropriate.

    Advice to Management

Be honest about the job rather than making it seem better than it really is.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Channel Source Direct full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Small company that you feel like you are a part of....This will make you feel like crap later after you find out the truth.

    Cons

Company shares illegal information and then does not treat employees the same. You have to be in the "group" to make it anywhere. Clients find out that the company is full of lies and faked information then leave and management keeps their favorites not most productive.

    Advice to Management

Wake up and find a new job. This company will not be around for long

I worked at Channel Source Direct full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Nice building and a lot of parking.

    Cons

Poorly educated managers who play favoritism. The company is on its last leg and instead of honestly informing workers, they insulted their intelligence with patronizing rhetoric. The managers constantly try to scam agents out of their bonuses.Bright, hardworking people are not rewarded.

    Advice to Management

Shut the doors and sell the business to some professionals

    Pros

Very easier to park, clean bathroom.
Health insurance is pretty good, and apparently that's prolly the only reason people stay.

    Cons

The structure that they constantly hire and fire people is ridiculous. Over 4 weeks, a quarter of the "full time employees" are either gone.

    Pros

    Good family culture

    Often interesting work with clients

Good people working for the company in a variety of roles there

    Cons

Compensation is okay but could be better
Bonuses were not often there. It would have been better to be more consistent with them,
