    Pros

    Very flexable work schedual. Location

    Cons

Most jobs with the company are dead end. Little opportunity for promotion/advancement. Corperate jobs are mostly hired from the outside. No transparency between leadership and employees.

    Advice to Management

In order to encourage retention, provide promotions more frequently to keep from having to hire new employees. Understanding that recognition and appreciation will boost moral.

    Pros

Working as a quality assurance intern at Schwab was a very good experience, with excellent feedback. At the Austin location, known as the active trader division (used to be cybertrader) employees are treated very well.
Free coffee and tea in the break rooms, often free lunches, and often left overs after lunch meetings.
If you like a big city, Austin has a lot of fun things to do, especially live music.

    Cons

Deals in financial software, not the most interesting field. Does need real time programming for the servers though.
If you don't like working in a big city, this isn't the best; Austin is crowded and noisy.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it up, good work.
