    Pros

The school system offers an array of Professional Development opportunities in person both on and off campus, online, as well as giving credit for outside courses to count towards license renewal.

    Cons

High Stakes Testing puts high amounts of pressure on the teachers and students. You are almost forced to teach to the test as your value is tied to the results

    Pros

Not a bad system, like all school districts in the US- they struggle with the one size fits all

    Cons

High impact schools are undergoing change, but CMS needs community programs to help foster the importance of education

    Pros

Benefits, security, love kids, if you have an awesome department and good manager, it could be an enjoyable place.

    Cons

Low pay, many many supervisory changes, processes are slow and they seem to be behind everyone else in education, and everything else.

Once you get the school of your choice things fall into place. Having a great supervisor enhances your journey and strengthens your support system.

    Cons

Short staffed too often. Unqualified applicants that are just a body on your floor.

    Pros

Principal and PTA created a fantastic school environment, where teachers and students were supported. The district provided excellent professional development trainings and funding for EC instructional materials.

    Cons

Being a part of a large district made it difficult to navigate all of the (often unnecessary) policies and procedures.
