    Pros

Great co-workers. Most employees, especially faculty, care about the student body and success of the school.

    Cons

Leadership is not what it used to be and the culture that was once the backbone of the school has all but disappeared. Communication has always been lacking.

    Advice to Management

Make changes to leadership team and return to the principles that made the school and students successful.

    Pros

Good people and good premise for a law school. Serving the underserved is a noble cause and keeps people motivated as you see the results in students.

    Cons

Since the honesty at the leadership level was lacking to the staff, faculty and students, the school is now under heavy scrutiny and is facing accreditation probation and loss of Title 4 aid.

    Advice to Management

It is best to be honest and run a business that is not motivated by money, but by integrity and a desire to help others.

I have been working at Charlotte School of Law full-time

    Pros

There is a very friendly atmosphere here among co-workers. Most people really care about the student body and want what is best for them.

    Cons

The school probably won't be open long due to repeated mismanagement from a variety of leaders. If the school survives the current woes, it will be because of the hard work the faculty and staff have put in to build a connection to the students.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to change. While the current management is not necessarily to blame for all the school's woes, it is clear they've lost the trust of the current students and staff.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at Charlotte School of Law part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Charlotte School of Law is an excellent practice-ready law school. Surprisingly enough, the law students are exceptionally bright. The school's leadership administration is also remarkably committed to excellence in and out of the classroom. The practice-ready philosophy is fully-implemented and students are adequately prepared for the rigors of the legal profession.

    Cons

The only noteworthy negative point is the vast growth in student body. Growth can certainly be positive; but, size does matter and sometimes small is better. As mission-oriented as Charlotte Law is, it must never lose its significance as Charlotte's first law school.

    Advice to Management

Stay small; stay private and stay optimistic. Remember you are in the second largest financial center in the nation, Charlotte, N.C. Your qualitative approach should be centered on breeding practice-ready legal professionals who are also business-savvy and technically-inclined to penetrate the job market. Keep up the good work.

    No rasies
    Poor high level managment

    Advice to Management
