I have been working at Chart Industries full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits. Decent pay. Great co-workers. Okay coffee. Decent bathrooms. Horseshoe pits for entertainment. There is a old man that works there. That if you have a chance to talk to him. You’ll feel as you have talked to Gandalf himself. Very wise.

    Cons

Communication. Management. And pay could be a little better to compete with competing companies. The plant workers sometimes get shrugged off as if they are clueless, brainless people. They are smart. And driven. Here them out.

    Advice to Management

Better communication, more 1 on 1 with employees. You may have a diamond in the rough when it comes to knowledge and advice. Nobody is better than the person next to them. Be humble.

    Pros

    Good pay and benefits.

    Cons

Poor advancement opportunity. Lack of woman in management.

    Advice to Management

Do an overhaul of the HR dept. They are not trusted by the employees as they are related to operations managers which causes a conflict of interest.

I have been working at Chart Industries full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Close to home job and a great group of production folks to work with. We all care for each other like family.

    Cons

Most all of the small “perks” we use to receive have been done away with since the Corporate big wigs have moved to Ball Ground. They come around occasionally yet don’t speak to the “little people”. It’s pathetic and people are quitting.

    Advice to Management

    We need all new management.
