    Pros

Chart has an employee focused culture. They value the input of their employees and act on their suggestions to improve workplace engagement. They have very competitive pay in the oil & gas divisions.

    Cons

They are in a cyclic industry that makes retention of key employees during a downturn. Too much turnover in the senior management levels.

    Advice to Management

Set a strategy and do not deviate. Make the difficult decisions about under performing businesses. Seek management stability.

    Pros

The company benefits packages are good.

    Cons

Too many changes to the company this year. Several executive level management changes, facilities being closed, relocation of the Corporate office and acquisitions. Significant turnover of staff.

    Advice to Management

The business reasons for the changes are good but it's too many all at once.

    Pros

Yearly salary increases between 2 and 4% a year.

    Cons

Typical office politics, run by typical buzz word seeking managers.

    Advice to Management

Hold presidents and vice president to higher standards, especially with the aimless reorganizations, lack of communication, and politically motivated firings.

    Pros

The hours were good if you only had to work what you were scheduled and the benefits were decent. The H.R. team were a very helpful group of ladies.

    Cons

Management was for the most part terrible. This particular location pretty much swears by the buddy system. Production was constantly stop and go. When it's busy they're forcing people to work 50-60 hour weeks and then they'll run out of work and lay employees off for a few weeks rather than just work a continuous steady pace. Pay was an absolute joke! They have two pay scales. One for employees grandfathered in on the old pay scale with a much higher top out rate and then all new hires are on the new pay scale which started at a low wage and doesn't go too much higher than that. Example; 2 employees who work side by side doing the same exact job but one is topped out at $20.50/hr and the other is topped out at $15.50/hr. These are actual numbers. I absolutely do not recommend working here.

    Advice to Management

Replace quite a few of your managers and create one pay scale that's fair to all employees

    Pros

    Pay and benefits are decent.

    Cons

Working hard = target. Mandatory overtime. Always hiring. HR hates hearing from employees. Horrible culture.

    Advice to Management

This isn't high school. Try being someone to look up to. You gain more respect thru example than as a good ol' boy in your popularity contest. Look up "attrition".
