I worked at Chart Industries as an intern

    Pros

Friendly coworkers once you break through the shell, compensation seems fair. The supervisor I reported to was easy-going and willing to accommodate class schedule as well as life events without hassle.

    Cons

Did not get semesterly raise as promised in interview, layoffs during the year stint, advised engineering task will go through trial of outsourcing...

    Advice to Management

Increase employee confidence and morale, it is challenging to work daily while job scared. The "club/clique" mentality needs to disappear particularly when HR is one such group. It is very unprofessional, and a very, very poor reflection on the company as a whole. Elevate the overall level of class and professionalism.

    Pros

    Great Pay and good benefits.
    The job itself was decent.
    Good safety percautions.
Overtime all the time when busy.
    Good equipment and tools.

    Cons

Area businesses dont want to hire you because they know you will go back when called back.

    Advice to Management

Somehow fix this crazy layoff roller coaster. Recruited to move half way across state and told 5 years work..2.5 years later on the street.
