    Pros

    good co-workers, decent 401k match,

    Cons

Company is dysfunctional, lack communication, planning, vision, terrible customer focus. Very disappointed. business has plummeted year after year since Chart acquired the company. Management fails to learn from their mistakes. .

    Advice to Management

Learn from your mistakes and change your attitude toward customer service. Either that or sell your BioMed division to someone that can better manage the business and focus on the customer's need and service quality.

    Pros

    Decent 401K and potential bonus

    Cons

Middle and senior management has made MANY bad decisions that have cost 100's of people their jobs while they maintain theirs. Employees that were experts in their field have been replaced by those who say they are experts.

    Advice to Management

Review middle management decisions closer to see what is really going on. Should have valued the employees that were TRUE experts in their field.

    Pros

Working at Chart provides exceptional opportunity to advance in your career in terms of increasing your knowledge and experience. Benefits are quite good.

    Cons

Compensation seems to lag behind the industry average. Information exchange between business units is quite difficult at times. You are ultimately responsible for team building. Bring a positive attitude with you; this company needs more folks that are upbeat and cheerful.

    Advice to Management

Provide more team building company events. Do whatever it takes to build morale. Chart has good people, but they need to be commended or rewarded for their contributions.

    Pros

Chart has been on an expansion track for year and seems well positioned for the future.

    Cons

Manufacturing managers tend to micro manage instead of letting their qualified people do what they are best at. Get in the "Good Old Boys Club" you could have a job for life. If you don't like playing politics you may not like it.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the favoritism by management. Keep the best qualified.

    Pros

Stable company for growth in most of the business units. Global manufacturing presence to help expand products and stability in most markets. Buys up the competition, good technology and quality of product, dedicated and satisfied customers.

    Cons

Runs with big internal systems but too many non value added processes and people bring it down. Lacking cohesive effort between departments. Under compensated and under valued for all the hours that are required to be worked for most dedicated salary people. Long term vision in some areas is poor, bad business decisions are paid for by lay-offs and closings.
