    Pros

free services (but dont let them trap you with it)

    Cons

Corporate Management is out of touch with the rest of the company . I was apart of TWC and was forced to work under the new "spectrum" label . TWC was not good but charter is the handy work of the devil . No time for family . Charter thinks they own your soul . Dont let them sucker you in with the free cable , you will learn to hate it .

    Advice to Management

Get someone to do do an undercover boss episode to see how bad you treat front line employees and the toll it takes on their families .

    Pros

The employees at Charter, Time Warner Cable, and Brighthouse are good people. They are smart, dedicated, and want what's best for the company.

    Cons

The acquisition of Time Warner Cable and Brighthouse Networks has overwhelmed middle and senior management. Countless employees from the two companies that were acquired are leaving, which leaves the company very vulnerable to wide-spread outages across the country.

    Advice to Management

Break down the silos between the three companies, use the best technology, and listen to the people who still care about the future of this cable giant.

    Pros

Decent company, decent benefits. Employees are nice, and the management team is great. You learn a lot about the cable industry.

    Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement. Since taking over Time Warner, they tend to hire outside the company for jobs.

    Advice to Management

Improve the overall communication, improve benefits, and promote from within for mid to high level roles. It will benefit the company.

    Pros

The company has great benefits, hourly pay is good. commissions can be earned for extra pay. The hours are good during the week.

    Cons

Very few career opportunities for advancement. Have to work Saturdays and holidays. Customer service has taken a backseat to making money .

    Advice to Management

Make your priority customer service again, the way it use to be.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    They pay you a salary

    Cons

The company turns over their employees in the C/S and Tech side every 90 days. The training class I was in had 35 people and only half of them stayed to complete the training. They so micromanage the jobs the phone desks do that they literally have 2 people over seeing every ONE person actually doing the work that needs to be done. Add in that they have two to three training classes every month shows you the amount of people they turn over every month.

    Advice to Management

People hate their experiences there and use this company as a model of what NOT to look for at a job.

    Pros

Everything was great until new Corporate management took over and changed everything

    Cons

everything about the co since new corporate management took over around 2012 is a con...

    Advice to Management

Go back to letting direct sales sale to anyone and sale anything including doing there own installs like we use to. back when I started in 2003 it was the best place to work. until you took it all away and now direct sales only gets 500 SFU a month...totally sucks
