    Pros

I love meeting new and uplifting people on a everyday basic. also can be rewarding to socialize with people from all across the world.

    Cons

not having all supplies needs being met to perform and need more support from supervisor with getting inventory in on time to have outstanding feed back from customers. more opportunities to work in different departments so your could climb career ladder would be great if it was possible.

    Advice to Management

Be more aware of what going on every shift and take time out to work with all shifts. Be more mindful of inventory request.

    Pros

Great company to move up with! They genuinely care about their employees. They give constructive criticism to better help their employees. Even big people in corporate take time to be with hotels and help serve and better them.

    Cons

There's no way to get to know others that work for Chartwell outside of the Nashville market.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing!

I worked at Chartwell Hospitality full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small Company with lots of growth opportunity. Constantly making new hotels. Beautiful hotels so you should always be able to get a job somewhere.

    Cons

Absolutely no standard operating procedures. They love their favorites and treat everyone else like crap. They are two faced but mainly are a company for blue collar type individuals and not intellectuals. Beware they do not pay equally across the board for the very same position.

    Advice to Management

Think like a really corporation and not a Mom and Pop organization. Get better internet security. Need universal policy and procedures.

I worked at Chartwell Hospitality part-time

    Pros

    Coworkers are great! Good schedule.

    Cons

Low pay. Bad insurance that covers hardly anything. Corporate sent a letter out saying their office fell for a scam and emailed out every single employee's W-2. Almost every employee had their tax return delayed because of this. Had to go prove my identity at an IRS office. Too much hassle for so little income.

    Advice to Management

Don't give out employee information to scammers.

    Pros

It seems when you get to the corporate office things will be less stressful.

    Cons

Not a lot of training involved with the company, they simply expect you to know. I noticed that the insurance for the hourly employees is really bad, most have to get Obama Care.

    Advice to Management

I think the there needs to be a little bit more focus on the start up training as far as the brands are concerned.
