I have been working at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There aren't any. Run. Just run.

    Cons

I have been expected to not only do my regular job, which was only defined after being employed 8 months, but also told I needed to take over other parts of a salary based position without any raise. I have also been given little help with accommodations during my pregnancy, and at one point made to stay 5 hours after my shift to help a separate department.

I worked at Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with diverse group from all over the world.

    Cons

Corporate corruption and cover ups are rampant. Speak Up Hotline which is for anonymous complaints does not go anywhere except to loop back around Favoritism towards some employees means that they get premier hours and perks. Management is completely apathetic towards the struggles of the associates. An internal survey revealed the majority of workers in Springfield Mo are unhappy and underpaid.

    Advice to Management

There is no hope for the current management. Only a complete shake up and new dining center managers and district managers etc would bring change to a fully broken workplace. Pay yourselves less and the workers doing the actual work more.
