    Pros

Smart people working at the company

    Cons

It was all about the numbers - and being asked to change interview results so that they would look better.

    Advice to Management

Take a close look at all areas of the company and make sure they are all doing ethical things.

I worked at Chatham Partners full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work with good training to start, good benefits (as it does look into 401(k)s), eventual promotions are relatively easy to obtain

    Cons

Rigid corporate structure leads to promotion only based on seniority and availability rather than actually good work. Also, since it's a survey-based company, the lower response rates were getting to be a problem.

    Advice to Management

Promote strong office culture that encourages smart employees to want to stay. Working smarter rather than harder should be the goal.

I worked at Chatham Partners full-time

    Pros

Can build solid excel skills if you put in the effort. Accommodating of remote work and vacation requests.

    Cons

Management doesn't mentor the younger staff. Processes are too streamlined. Learning pretty much stops after the first year. Culture is pretty weak due to the tall cubicle walls and location in Waltham. Limited client visibility for employees, and limited opportunities to present findings.

    Advice to Management

Be more involved in the development of your workers - some who are much more capable than you give them credit for. Also, be more willing to take ownership of the final deliverables, because currently the research staff does all the heavy lifting and although a manager reviews the work, the research team is always on the hook if anything goes wrong.

I worked at Chatham Partners part-time

    Pros

Chatham is a great environment to work in. The employees are a young close knit group that always help everyone out. It is a fantastic place to start your career after college. They encourage employee's to bond with day-long adventures outside of the office a few times a year.

    Cons

The jobs can sometimes be limited to the work you do.
