    Pros

    Nice office location in Doylestown

    Cons

    Management is inept and lazy in regards to coaching employees for success. Trainer was horrible and had unprofessional appeareance. The atmosphere is similar to a high school clique. Reluctance from supervisors to handle escalated clients which puts the client and employee in a very difficult position. I was left unimpressed with this organization and would never consider traveling with them on a personal level... after i witnessed how clients are treated.

    Pros

    Free water, Coffee. Open-Desk area, so anyone can look at what you are doing.

    Cons

    Limited Growth, No Training, Everyone is separated. Each department doesn't communicate and thus, it is hard to implement anything quick. Management doesn't care about employee's well-being... They interviewed another person when my teammate was working on the job. Tiny office with +30 people.. No diversity in race. No Paternity/Maternity leave. Good luck on getting sick, and be prepared to be fired... Favoritism,... and gossip environment.

    Pros

    The coffee in the break room is free and the cafeteria is nice.

    Cons

    Massive layoffs and company merges means easily double the work for the people left behind. I’ve worked here for 2 years, and it is safe to say Master Lock has no interest retaining talent. Leadership does not value their employees, only their bonuses at the end of the year. Very political climate that is toxic to work in. Safe to say if you didn’t come from GE then you won’t be welcomed at Master Lock.

    Jump ship before you’re fired too.

    Pros

    The people you work with are amazing, the vacation time and benefits are really good and probably the best part of the job were the trips to the Caribbean for work.

    Cons

    A few years ago we got wind that they were opening or dealing with some company overseas. Originally they said it was just to help with the work load and no one was going to lose their job. Low and behold over the next 2 years every department that was not direct call center (Sales and Customer support) got shipped overseas. Do not work here. There's nowhere to go in terms of promotions now and between the pay and... stress the company has made for the workers due to the poorly trained replacements has made working there awful. They probably lose the company so much money from the errors it is shocking to me that they are still able to pay their workers.

    Advice to Management

    Admit you are wrong! FIRE the replacement workers and get people who not only care about the job they are doing but KNOW what the system is like. There is 0 accountability for the errors that were caused by the new team and everyone is suffering for it.

    Decent pay, food supply, fun at times

    Cons

    They weren’t very fair, the hours sucked so badly and were not really negotiable, people spread so many rumors and would gossip and management couldn’t do much about it

    Advice to Management

    I would just say train the staff a little better there’s way too much to know and hurricane season being as stressful as it is you should have some kind of incentive

    Pros

    9-5 hours were good. Work/life ratio was excellent. Mostly friendly employees.

    Cons

    Management played favorites bigtime. A lot of gossip and angry employees.

    Advice to Management

    Not the most comfortable place to work: favoritism and gossip made the culture a basic "know who to pucker up to, and know who to avoid" kind of environment. I would be more professional, but overall not the worst.
