I have been working at Check Point Software Technologies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Top Notch Cyber Security company to work for.

    Cons

As with any vendors whose goal is to provide coverage to all enforcement layers for cyber threat prevention, integration with other solution that specializes in key specific functionality can be cumbersome to integrate. Nonetheless, Check Point will do their due diligence to allow the integration to happen approve by all parties which customer/consumer fails to understand.

    Pros

You will learn things and create amazing connections between people at this company.
You will be able to work as a team and have a close relationship with your colleagues.
The growing potential within the company is immense and the rewards exist provided you stick around.
Management will push you and keep your best interests in mind, it is never a numbers war and when it comes to job security, people will stick up for you.
Paid lunches and amazing company paid outings.

    Cons

The work load is high and you will have to deal with an abundance of stress and pressure.
The training process is long and you will still come out of your first training scared to death of the customer (for only 2 weeks or so).
The difficulty of moving up from some positions vary and sometimes you will get drowned out if you don't speak up many times.
Certification tests are difficult and have some outdated information.

    Advice to Management

There is no place like Check Point because it always felt like home. I always felt needed and appreciated when it came to the office. However I think it might be time to update the CCSE. Just an opinion.
