I can't really say what the cons are as I have just started so it too soon to tell..I will update accordingly

    -Provide real training

Very stressful job with demanding schedule. 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

    Pros

Great team, supervisors and training. They were very detailed oriented in teaching you the product line and systems. We're very open to feedback. The hours were great, time off was flexible. Benefits were ok, but the perks from vendors were great. A relaxed work environment, knew when to relax and when to be serious, great balance in the office.

    Cons

Spent much of the time sitting. Frustrating sometimes in dealing with things beyond your control. Not being able to get an answer right away since others are just as busy.

    Advice to Management

Standing desks, train the inside people more on the outside sales duties. Train the outside to do the inside duties.

    Pros

The culture of the company is great and the people are wonderful. The company also has a great future outlook.

    Cons

There were many days where there was no work to be done. I believe a more structured internship program would be very beneficial.

    Advice to Management

Have a more structured internship program

I have been working at Chefs’ Warehouse full-time

    Pros

Stable, public company that is accessible to public transportation. My co-workers are awesome.
    Pay is good

    Cons

Management is egotistical and rejects feedback, they think they know best
    Workers are just a number
New office space if beautiful, but the furniture is not practical, we don't all weight 100 lbs you know
The desks are too narrow, office workers are all going to develop carpal tunnel syndrome
To be promoted you need to be white

    Advice to Management

Feedback from hourly workers will surprise you. Upper management needs to get off that cloud nine in CT and come to the Bronx and have conversations with us. We see it every day, you need to see it from our point of view. I remember when you used to listen to us. I miss those days.

I have been working at Chefs’ Warehouse full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay and benefits. Easy going and laid back. Get invoices pre trip truck and go to work. Get back to warehouse post trip truck and finalize all paperwork and go home.

    Cons

Routing could be better. The loading of trucks could get better. But all in all not to bad it could be worse.

    Advice to Management

    Easy to talk to.
