    I have been working at Chem-Aqua full-time

    Pros

Benefits. The 401k is good match.

    Cons

They do not treat employees well. All they care about is making a couple extra bucks. Managers are not trained well. Too political of an environment.

    Advice to Management

Do the right thing and establish integrity and values

    I worked at Chem-Aqua full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Some of the employees seem to want to make a difference, but hands are tied because of management.

    Cons

Discrimination, if you are not part of the good ole boys club, then you are exiled from being successful.

    Advice to Management

Need management accountability for their employees failing.

I worked at Chem-Aqua (Less than a year)

    Pros

A relatively unknown industry with unlimited opportunity... every building in the world needs clean air conditioning.

Sell to blue collar managers, not necessarily C-level executives.

Outside sales, no boy club office atmosphere favoritism.

    Cons

Cons are not applicable (at least throughout my time as an intern).

    I have been working at Chem-Aqua full-time

    Pros

    Numerous, including...

    1. Opportunities to grow yourself, skills, and business
    2. Work/Life Balance is unbeatable.
    3. Management is top-notch
    4. Work from Home
    5. Great learning environment for beginning and senior level staff
    6. Great Co-workers
    7. Well established company with a "family first" mentality
    8. Pays well

    Cons

    Not many...

    1. Systems can be a bit clunky, but they work

    Advice to Management

    Keep on keep'in on.

I have been working at Chem-Aqua full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Big company with longterm vision
    Privately held
    Invests in research
    Sales support
    Engineering & technical support
    Passionate, driven people

    Cons

This middle-market company continues to grow at a record rate.
Slowly penetrating into the larger industrial markets (they have a great foundation for this).

    Advice to Management

As a sales-driven company, keep up the good fight to keep the pendulum from swinging too far away from the technical aspects as well. More/better technical training and tools is vital to growing the market place Chem-Aqua competes within. The vision is there. Keep the momentum!

I have been working at Chem-Aqua full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great if you are self motivated. Great pay structure. They don't mind paying commissions. Seem to have a better support staff than that of some of the major competitors.

    Cons

They are not very nimble. They are very structured and set in their ways. You can feel left out on an island at times. They are great with the standard boiler water/cooling water accounts, but its can be difficult if you have to do anything outside of the box.

    Advice to Management

I wish I could give advice to management but I am really not sure who is actually running the company.

    I worked at Chem-Aqua full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good co-workers. Ability to make own hours, based on boss preference.

    Cons

Senior Manager, Senior Management above manager were clueless as to how a service company actually runs, makes money, & keeps customers. This is a SALES company that knows NOTHING about the service industry!

    Advice to Management

Learn exactly what field personnel REALLY do on a daily basis!
Start offering a modern day competitive wage, instead of the sneaky way you compensate.
Pay YOUR bills, instead of asking your field personnel to pay first, & then you reimburse.
Hire managers who ACTUALLY manage our careers. Too many people "passing the buck", looking to blame others.
