    Pros

This is a great business concept

I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The employees are helpful and friendly.

    Cons

Where should I start? ChenMed held a contest last year, asking current employees to post on Glass Door in an effort to combat the negative reviews. Regrettably, most of the positive reviews were posted by staff trying to win a free trip to Miami. The Chen's have an impractical expectancy of what can be accomplished and run the company with little concern for anyone other than themselves. If you question or push...

    Advice to Management

Hire experience leaders and allow them to lead. Invest in your staff Celebrate accomplishments Take a long hard look at the culture you have created, it's toxic.

    Pros

    The patients who need us.

    Cons

Horrible long hours. Don’t allow patients to see medical specialist if your family member patient really needs to see a specialist. JenCare wants their PCP to manage ALL their diseases when they are NOT qualified.

    Advice to Management

Wake up- run the organization professionally - you’re greedy - you know you play favorites - Especially At senior level.

I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than a year

      Pros

The business is constantly growing and the revenue is strong since they target the neediest regions

      Cons

There is no growth and it is intimidating to speak up. You’re basically a cog molded to fit their machine.

      Advice to Management

Stop running the business as a family and bring in fresh perspective.

I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Great co-workers willing to help you in your job! Good message and focus on healthcare for the elderly. Interesting IT projects and technologies to work on.

      Cons

This is to inform any candidate who is looking to join this company and wants to know what they’re signing up for….please do not make the same mistake I did. Let me start off by saying to please be very careful with some of these reviews, specifically the ones that were written in 2018. ChenMed ran a campaign called #lovewhatyoudo last year and asked all its employees to post positive reviews on Glassdoor to increase...

      Advice to Management

Fire the CIO as he has created a fearful, toxic and non-transparent environment. Also, replace the Director level positions in IT with well qualified individuals who know what they are doing and know how to manage people and projects. I’d also recommend to change your recruiting approach to make sure that you are recruiting religious like-minded candidates that believe in your faith if that is what you’re truly looking...

      Pros

Had great SWs and Psych Services for Pts

      Cons

Got rid of BH services, in a constant state of flux, not good care. Employees constantly leaving, very chaotic strategy from leadership.

I worked at ChenMed full-time for more than 3 years

      Pros

Higher salary than most placed I've worked.

      Cons

I feel that it is my duty to warn potential employees about the down sides of working for this company. I joined initially thinking that this was a concierge practice since that is how it was presented. I was surprised to find that I was responsible for every patient on my panel who ended up in the hospital. Some admits cannot be prevented people! I still had high hopes though. Partnership is offered after the first year...
