I worked at Chenega Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

I worked at Chenega Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good company when they need you.

    Cons

Termination procedures are lacking when employee is not at fault. Let go at the end of the work day with no notice and without regard for employees bills, family or moving on to next job.

    Advice to Management

Give a notice when terminating someone. I was notified at 4:30pm that day that that would be my final day with the company. I was not fired with cause and had been a productive employee but was left unemployed abruptly with no regard for my bills or family. It's unacceptable to expect two weeks notice when someone quits but not to give the same curtsey.

I worked at Chenega Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is very competitive for the job.
There are plenty of chances for over time if you want it.

    Cons

I didn't really care for the uniforms. They looked like a typical mall cop and did not command the respect needed.
Some of the employees had some questionable morals.

    Advice to Management

Spend more time researching the applicants.
    Improve the uniforms and gear.

    Advice to Management
