    Cons

    Lack of Leadership

    Reactive Environment

    Advice to Management

Unfortunately, the culture of the environment dictates the culture of the team and though there are some things you can do to shield the employees from it, the endeavor lies in making sure employees are not frustrated to the point that they are shutting down.

    Pros

Nice teamwork to get the mission completed. Everyone pulls their load of what needs to get done. They work hard and play hard. Love the dress casual atmosphere and the new benefits make even better. I have been with lots of companies but there is a family, close knit. Plus i am only 15 minutes from home. My commute and not having to dry clean is worth its price. When i was spending close to 300 dollars to commute and pay for parking for other places.

    Cons

I do not have any Cons to report at this time. Any company is what you make of it and if you have a good attitude and willing to put in the time, then it will work out. Also, there is an open door policy so you can always take it up with your manager. I work in the Lorton VA office.

    Pros

It's a paycheck, and If i can do it again I would not.

    Cons

Just found out from an insider in HR that they have employees give themselves fantastic review to pump up their image. That should say a lot about their confidence about this company. If you're interested in a fair and equal treatment amongst employees DO NOT, I reat DO NOT apply for for this company. Unfortunately you will be required to be in the "Buddy Click" to get any sort of promotions. I am a caucasian male and I can tell you they really lack in diversity training. Leadership is clueless and have zero idea how to manage a team, communication with hire ups doesn't exist and pay raises is non existing. Moral has been at a all time low, and I see no light in the near future. You have been fully warned about them, now apply at your own risk.

    Advice to Management

Hire quality technical management, not your buddy from HS, that is a plumber for trade.

I have been working at Chenega Corporation (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great management. Whenever I had any questions or concerns; the Operations Manager for my sector would respond to me immediately. If she was not able to have an answer for me she would find it or point me in the right direction.

    Cons

I truly cannot find any CONs with working for this company. I wish the contract I worked for was not ending.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. I would refer any qualified friend to apply for a position with your company.

The cutting edge of technology is not always great and tends to be sharp.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the grunts in the trenches.

    Pros

    Old boy system still exist.

    Cons

I work for the contract at NASA in Houston, worst management in world. They dont care about their employees. Lots of EEOC claims. Stay away from this company if you are a minority. Clearly the worst company I ever worked for.

    Advice to Management

    Educate yourselves on discrimination laws
