I worked at Cheniere Energy full-time

    Pros

4 x 10 work schedule, Great Benefits, very diverse, competitive pay, invest in people, forward thinking Management and decent amount of paid time off.

    Cons

Near impossible to progress in career path especially among international closed groups, Site is located in the middle of no where, Too much politics and

    Advice to Management

Listen to the people actually doing the work (Not only Aussie folks !!), and give opportunity to local people.

I have been working at Cheniere Energy full-time

    Pros

Located in downtown Houston. They pay for parking for employees.

    Cons

    1. No career growth - HR has been working on this for 2 years. Vertical/horizontal growth is not possible .
    2. No flexibility in work schduled. Depends on your manager and is approved under very strict circumstances.
    3. No consistency in corporate standards as it varies wildly between departments.
    4. Corporate culture is rife with politics and un substantiated information.
    6. 0 transperancy between employees and management. Communication needs a huge overhaul.
    7. Lack of accountability and trust within groups, between groups and in management is a common topic of concern among most employees.
    8. Company has lost a lot of talent due to the reasons above and the HR is out of touch with this reality.

    Advice to Management

    Management Overhaul.

I worked at Cheniere Energy full-time

    Pros

Cheniere is leading the way in providing natural gas to Countries that do not have access to the commodity.

    Cons

This is a top heavy company. Upper Management does not always communicate downward. If you cross one of them, you can kiss your career goodbye.

    Advice to Management

Keep all of your employees informed. You hire some pretty bright people and if they are happy they will continue to work hard for you

I have been working at Cheniere Energy full-time

    Pros

    * Pays well
    * Good benefits

    Cons

The IT work environment changed, and now everyone is crammed next to each other. It is now very hard to concentrate.

Business has a history of going around IT as well as ignoring advice (even from architects).

Very old-school mentality around working remote or from home. Being in your seat during operational hours is the most important thing - much more so than actual performance.

No room to advance if you are in a technical position unless you want to go into middle management.

I have been working at Cheniere Energy full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great industry doing great things on a global scale--excellent opportunities and upside for this company, it's an exciting place to be

    Cons

Work/life flexibility is available at manager discretion which is good, a program similar to energy peers (e.g. 9x80) would be even better

    Advice to Management

    Keep the communication coming
