  2. "Exciting company digesting a lot of transition"

I worked at Cheniere Energy full-time

    Pros

Great people, collaborative environment, company is at cutting edge of energy markets

    Cons

Corporate culture has changed radically with departure of former CEO Souki. Lots of collective experience, expertise and excellent people have departed or been let go -- clear preference for youth (cheaper). Needless level of fear and anxiety among staff during leadership transition for a company that otherwise had been executing well.

    Advice to Management

You have shed a lot of muscle from the org chart. That may work fine during current energy downturn but will become a liability once growth returns to LNG markets.

    Pros

    Beautiful office space in downtown.

    Cons

The management in the communications department does not want you to grow, speak out or questions anything. Most of the good managers are leaving for another LNG company.

I have been working at Cheniere Energy full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

If you were lucky to be at Cheniere in 2013-2015 pay and benefits were excellent.

    Cons

It's funny how you can ramp up and hire all of those people and give bonuses on top of bonuses to hide what really happened. After Charif was ousted Cheniere never had any intentions to fix inefficiencies. Just another chop shop about to sell.

    Advice to Management

You can't give advise to managers, director, and VP's that have no clue about how a company is to be run. Most of management were brought in by buddies of Peru LNG or Enron with no real qualifications. Hear is some advice management.... keep collecting huge bonuses until someone with any sense comes in and flushes the toilet.

    Pros

The best times of the company were when Charif was the CEO.

    Cons

The Trust factor is lost with employees living in fear of layoffs

I worked at Cheniere Energy (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great atmosphere that is very engaging. The trade floor is the best. You feel at home. It really is a great place to be

    Cons

It is not a huge company. People don't understand liquified natural gas yet. They are expanding the terminals and trains

    Advice to Management

    They are great
