I have been working at Cherokee Casino & Resort full-time (More than 8 years)
the casino is basically ran like a giant wal mart.
the departments do not communicate
management doesn't listen to employees suggestions
very high turnover rate
booking of concerts becoming same routine every year
Advice to Management
Learn to listen to your floor employees as they are the ones who are interactive with the guests
learn to teach staff safety measures and preparation for them
provide a positive working environment, as good achievement is never pointed out or rewarded
